Job description
An old milking shed collapsed in a storm. It was insured, so I need to forward a quote to my insurer to remove damaged materials and build a replacement before undertaking repairs.
The existing slab is fine. The structure is to measure: 4.6 m x 3.3 m and 2.6 m high. Four solid corner posts, anchored in concrete, preferably mounted on GI stirrups, and with cross bracing on sides and rear.
Roof is to be corrugated iron sheeting or similar material. 1.2 m high walls required on sides and rear, of corrugated iron sheeting or similar. Timber to be used must all be either treated structural pine or hardwood.
The area is accessed along a narrow bush track - nothing larger than a 4WD ute/wagon would be suitable for the last 500 m. A trailer for materials could be used but there is limited space for turning.
The closest 240V power outlet is 300 m away. Water is present at site. I possess a 1kVA generator and 240V cement mixer that are available to use.
